Kern OES (Office of Emergency Services) and CSUB (Bakersfield State University of Bakersfield have partnered in hosting a Disaster Preparedness Community Event this coming Spring 2025! Over 30 nonprofit organizations and other participating agencies will be there for their booth. B-GLAD will be there with a booth and come by to visit us to learn more about our services for the Deaf* community and how to be better prepared whenever a natural disaster strikes anytime and anywhere. ASL Interpreters will be provided on site and parking is FREE at parking lots K1, K2, & K3.
