Hello, my name is Skippy Sumner. I work for California Connect, previously known as California Telephone Access Program (CTAP). We are a State program that provides equipment like TTYs, which most of you received a long time ago. Deaf people are not using TTYs now, most are using Video Phones and Smartphones. I’m here to tell you that we offer FREE iPhone training in ASL, where we will train you on how to use Live Captions, Bluetooth, and how to use Facetime with people that do not have iPhone. There will be more for you to learn on your iPhone. If you are interested in learning new things about your iPhone, come to ur workshop on Friday, May 31, 2024 at 1 PM – PM and our workshop will be held at B-GLAD Community Room.
